Ravi Cannonier Watson aged 11
Ravi Cannonier Watson is a young talented Bermudien ballet dancer. Ravi started dancing at the age of 6 at the Russian School of Ballet in Bermuda. Under the tutelage of Corral Waddell and Catina Woodley, and with guidance from Madame Patricia Grey, Ravi began to excel in his ballet classes.
On March 17, 2016, Ravi Cannonier-Watson was accepted into the prestigious The Royal Ballet School in London. After a grueling audition process, he was one of only twelve boys chosen out of 2,000 applicants. Ravi is the first Bermudian to be admitted into the program. He will start school in September 2016.
PROCESS
- Ravi auditioned and was selected to attend The Royal Ballet School Summer Program in July 2015.
- Ravi took part in a series of three auditions in order to be selected for the program.
- For the final audition, Ravi practiced six days a week, 2.5 hours a day with his teachers, Patricia Deane Gray and Coral Waddell.

- May 2014 – Auditioned and received a call back for the Broadway hit “Billy Elliott.”
Education
Ravi is home schooled and also attends The Oxford Learning Center in Bermuda and Huntington Learning Center in Orlando , Florida.
Ravi also enjoys training and playing football with his team, The Devonshire Colts.
